Pharmaceutical products (Generics)

The company's Pharmaceutical Division is at its largest, and now ranks third among generic companies, as well as fourth among pharmaceutical companies, in the number of prescriptions filled in Canada.

Consumer products (OTC)

  • The company’s Consumer Products Division manufactures, markets and sells a wide range of non-prescription, over-the-counter products in therapeutic categories as diverse as pain management, gastro-intestinal disorders, nasal hygiene, oral re-hydration and allergy treatment.  Familiar names include Entrophen (ASA), Pediatric Electrolyte and Rhinaris, a nasal hygiene product.

International

  • The success of Pharmascience in Canada has led to international expansion through its international division.  The growing worldwide pharmaceutical market is estimated at US $800 billion, and the company now markets a wide range of its high-quality, Canadian-made bioequivalent products in over 60 countries.  Pharmascience is committed to increasing its presence in the global marketplace, and has developed considerable international regulatory and logistics expertise.  It already manufactures to E.U. standards and has created strong business relationships and co-development projects throughout Europe.

Hospital and Institutional Products

  • In addition to its strong presence in retail pharmacy, Pharmascience also sells pharmaceutical products to over 1,200 hospitals in Canada.
