PHARMASCIENCE GETS INVOLVED: THE SEVENTH ANNUAL MORRIS GOODMAN COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP DAY WAS A BIG SUCCESS

On September 15th, for the seventh year in a row, Pharmascience employees put their energy and hearts into actively taking part in the Morris Goodman Community Partnership Day.

Created in 2011 in honour of the company’s co-founder, Morris Goodman, this day of volunteer activities has been a success year after year. This year, more than 300 employees spent over 1,200 hours doing community work to help 22 organizations throughout the Greater Montreal Area.

These organizations included: Accueil Bonneau, Animatch, Centre Bienvenue, Compagnons de Montréal, Complexe La Prairie, Complexe St-Constant, Heritage Laurentien, La Corne d’abondance, La Maison À Petits Pas, Maison de quartier de Villeray, Mission Nouvelle Génération, Moisson Laval, Moisson Montréal, Moisson Rive-Sud, The Montreal Oral School, Omega Community Resources, Partageons l’espoir / Share the Warmth, Pat Roberts Community Centre, Relais Communautaire de Laval, The Salvation Army, Sentier Urbain, and Teapot 50+.

Once again this year, we wish to thank Volunteer West Island which brilliantly coordinated this activity through its Corporate Volunteer Recruitment Program and the United Way, which made it all possible. For the occasion, employees wore neat T-shirts provided by our long-time partner, Hannah.

We thank everyone for making this day successful and for showing that Pharmascience gets involved.
