Metadol® (Methadone
HCL Oral Solution and Concentrate) are indicated for the relief of severe pain.
In general, Metadol®, as an analgesic, should not be used in opioid
naïve patients. Metadol® can only be prescribed by physicians
who have received an exemption pursuant to section 56 of the CDS from the
Minister of Health Canada.

Metadol®
10 mg/mL (100 mL) concentrate was introduced in May 2000. It is the first
commercially available oral preparation in Canada.
Metadol® 1 mg/mL (250 mL) oral solution was introduced in August
2003.
Both products provide ease of use, convenience, saves time, offers better
stability and have a long shelf life*.

Metadol® solutions are 18 months.

errors.

pms-Methadone
powder USP is a crystalline powder available in 3 convenient formats of 1 gm,
25 gm and 100 gm. It can be purchased directly through your local wholesaler or
directly from Pharmascience. pms-Methadone powder must be kept in airtight
containers and protected from light. |
