PHARMASCIENCE RANKED 10TH AMONG COMPANIES THAT RAISED THE MOST FUNDS FOR THE RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER THIS YEAR

Montreal, July 16, 2019 — On July 6 and 7, the Pharmascience Team cycled more than 200 kilometres for the Enbridge® Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a fundraising event during which participants bike from Montreal to Quebec City over the span of two days, for a total 230 kilometres. The event has garnered a spirited success for many years and rallies an entire community in support of one single cause: to raise funds to advance cancer research. This year thousands of participants and their peers collectively raised $4.2 million for the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.

For many years now, Pharmascience has been a proud sponsor of the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Given Pharmascience’s continued dedication to helping advance cancer research, we are pleased to announce our intention to renew its commitment in 2020 at the 12th edition of the Enbridge® Ride to Conquer Cancer. This year, Pharmascience was ranked 10th in its category for its fundraising efforts. The team raised a total of $75,894.87. Since Pharmascience first participated in the race in 2011, the team has raised more than half a million dollars!

Pharmascience demonstrates its unwavering commitment to cancer research through the Goodman Cancer Research Center, a recognized world-class research center that contributes to innovative developments in the treatment and, ultimately, the cure for cancer.
