Since 1983, Pharmascience has been a leading manufacturer of generic, branded, and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, serving both the Canadian and international markets. With product distribution in over 50 countries, we provide 1,300 skus to pharmaceutical wholesalers, hospitals, and pharmacists. Our facilities produce more than 5 billion dosage units of medicines every year.

Pharmascience’s story is one of remarkable growth. From its modest start-up by two Montreal pharmacists and a R&D team of five, Pharmascience has expanded over three decades to 1,600 employees through organic growth and acquisitions. Our first Montreal drug manufacturing facility has evolved into three major centres of production and distribution excellence. As a result, we have quickly become one of Canada’s main pharmaceutical employers, manufacturers, R&D investors, and exporters.

Pharmascience is dedicated to the scope and diversity of its product portfolio, encompassing generic, branded, and over-the-counter drugs as well as medical devices meeting the highest regulatory standards in the world (Health Canada, FDA, EMA). In addition, we offer a broad range of services such as contract R&D, manufacturing and distribution, and product analysis. Our products and services are available in Canada and around the world.

Pharmascience Canada

Pharmascience Canada is our domestic generic division, commercializing one of the largest generic portfolios in the country, with 300 molecules. We manufacture and commercialize a broad variety of dosage forms including tablets and capsules, injectable products and inhalation drugs, a large proportion of which are manufactured in our Canadian facilities.

Royalmount Laboratories

Royalmount Laboratories specializes in small and large molecule bioanalysis in support of discovery, preclinical and clinical programs. Our regulated (GLP/GCP/GMP) and non-regulated services also include immunogenicity, biomarkers and PK/TK reporting.
