Pharmascience Welcomes a New Executive Member

Pharmascience is pleased to announce the appointment of Alain Carrier, Ph.D., as Vice-President, Scientific Affairs. Alain will take up his new role on August 7.

With a Ph.D. in mass spectrometry from the Université de Montréal, Alain has a strong scientific background, and he has, throughout the years, held executive positions with increasing responsibilities.

With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he has a successful track record in the development, submission and approval of multiple drugs in Canada, the US, and Europe. His leadership style is based on a strong sense of engagement and adaptability, and he relies on collaboration, communication and his team members’ individual potential to achieve objectives.

His professional experience ranges from small start-ups to well established multinationals. Among other things, he oversaw the global development center for injectable and ophthalmic products.
